In our society people's schedules are so busy that health falls by the waist side. It doesn't help that it is very difficult to be healthy on the go, so convenience is crucial. Organic produce is difficult to find. Local grocery stores are beginning to carry more organic produce but the selection is limited to a small selection of fruits and no vegetables. Many people have to travel out of their way to find places that have a large variety of organic produce. Not only is it an inconvenience to find, it is also very expensive.
Organic Produce is a Necessity, Not an Option
When it comes to organic produce versus conventional produce there are two basic reasons why people choose conventional over organic.
1. Poorly educated on the difference between Organic vs Conventional.
2. Organic Produce is too expensive.
Comparison
On every level organic produce is a better choice for your mind, body, spirit and the planet. The production of conventional produce is based on greed and illusion. Your best interest and well being is not taken into consideration when corporations grow conventional foods. Organic farmers go to great extremes to assure that you are getting the healthiest produce possible.
Organic
Organic produce is non poisonous and non toxic. It means that no pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, chemical fertilizers, and waxes have been used in the process of growing the vegetation. Even the water used to water the produce is filtered to assure that chemicals do not "slip through the cracks" to contaminate food. Organic produce is healthier for you because it has a higher level of nutrients available with no negative reactions. Organic farming does not harm the earth; therefore making the switch to organic produce saves the planet. Eating organic produce supports the people that truly care about the well being of human beings, animals and nature. Shortly after making the switch to organic foods you will begin to taste a difference in the food quality as your taste buds become more sensitive. Organic foods have far more flavor and energy than their conventional cousins. Investing in organic food is an investment in your health. Remember, you are what you eat so you should provide your body with the best materials possible to build a better you. |
