This process is governed by the National Organic Standards, now incorporated into Federal law.
2. Organic agriculture has to meet very strict standards to assure that it is non toxic to people and the planet. It assures that chemicals do not get into the air, water and earth that sustain us. Organic foods are healthier and contain more nutrients and life force. The soil used has more minerals which is important because the soil from conventional agriculture is depleted.
